Hobbiton Movie Set to Celebrate 20 Years With Outdoor Screen in the Shire

Two decades after its world premiere, the Lord of the Rings franchise wanted to celebrate with an anniversary screening in style. Where better than one of the filming locations itself, Hobbiton, to bring the atmosphere and entertainment to new heights.

Across multiple exclusive screenings in December & January, Nightflicks enlisted Waikato/Bay of Plenty’s Vivid Collective to provide middle-earth-shattering sound thanks to multiple QSC K-Series loudspeakers.

The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was viewed on the largest inflatable movie screen in Aotearoa, under the stars, for a truly unique and unforgettable experience.
